About Karl
After high school, I was not ready to go to college. My older brother had joined the Navy and was sending letters home from all around the world. I mentioned that to some of my high school buddies and it didn't take much convincing for us to put off college and join the Armed Forces and travel the world. So we thought. That's how the recruiters made it seem. I enrolled in the buddy program. That's when you go to boot-camp with a friend. When I arrived at boot- camp, I never saw my buddies.

The Navy was great. Did a lot of traveling and going abroad makes you really appreciate how great America is. Got my Honorable Discharge and started working as an accounting clerk for an apparel manufacture in downtown Los Angeles. The Production manager liked how I came to work early everyday (Thanks Navy) because he opened for the company while the shipping manager closed. The production manager use to be an accountant himself. He asked me if I wanted to switch departments and work for him because they needed a production clerk.
I did and that was the start of my career in manufacturing and production planning. I eventually went back to college. Made the Dean's list at L.A.T.T. Earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. I really enjoy learning, teaching and sharing what I have learned. I like to see their eyes light up when people learn something new and think it's so cool. I have a son, he lives in Arizona. Thanks Karl.
